Our Bear of the Week is Michael.
He is in his 30's and was born and raised in the Charleston area. He enjoys going to the movies and watching movies at home. His favorite being scary or horror flicks! He is also a music lover and “the louder the better”, he tells us. He mostly listens to rock and alternative rock. You might also catch him reading comic books in his leisure time, as well as, graphic novels.
Michael like to get outside and enjoy nature through hiking, traveling and landscaping. He enjoys Mexican and Italian cuisine. Loves tortellini and quesadillas. For desert he will have a slice of cheesecake or pecan pie and ice cream.
His favorite movie is ‘The Crow’. He also loved the comic book and thinks that is just “a great story”. It is a dark film about a haunting, tragic love.
He likes a variety of musicians including: Collective Soul, Daughtry, Kiss, Dishwalla, Revis, alternative or hard rock. Rob Zombie is also a favorite artist.
His goals are to continue building a stable career in his chosen field, keep trying new things and to just continue to grow, both professionally and personally. He is currently working on things that will mean new directions and new opportunities with his career.
When asked, what makes him smile? He revealed that he has a sense of humor and loves animals.
He says he is currently single, has pet mix breed cat (Siamese/Birman), called a “honeybear”, named Yasmine.
He is a Pisces all the way: A dreamy individual with a passion for the arts and is somewhat rebellious by nature. He marches to his own drum.
Personal quote: ‘Carpe Diem’ or ‘seize the day!’ (Life is so short, enjoy it and live to be free!)
“I think I can make a good Bearcub of the Week, because I have always been told that I have that ‘All-American’, ‘cub next door’ look. I like to have fun and enjoy life, but I know what I want, too. I like to have fun, but stay healthy and grounded.”
